user questionnaire

We want your feedback!

Pray-as-you-go has been running as a trial site for the season of Lent, now extended into the Easter season.

The idea of the trial is to help us to answer a number of questions: Is this something that we could continue producing on a daily basis?  Would many people use it?  Would they find it genuinely helpful as an aid to prayer?  Would they want to make it a regular part of their daily routine?  What kind of people does it appeal to?  Have we got the format right?  Are there major changes or minor adjustments that need to be made to the format or content?

By filling in this questionnaire, you can help us to answer those questions, and help to determine the future of pray-as-you-go.

If you have used pray-as-you-go a few times, and can spare ten minutes or so to let us know how you found it, we would be very grateful.

The questionnaire is in four parts.  Section 1 is about you.  Sections 2, 3 and 4 are about your experience of pray-as-you-go, looking in turn at the format, content and technical side.

Any further comments on the language and style?

24  Sometimes the prayer guidance was in the first person ("as I enter into prayer, I become aware of...") and sometimes in the second person ("as you enter into prayer, become aware of ...") - we experimented with both because, on the one hand, it is natural, when speaking to someone, to address them as "you", but on the other hand, there is an Ignatian tradition of using "I", since the Spiritual Exercises are written this way.

Which of these statements applies to you?

I strongly preferred the guidance in the first person ("I")
I strongly preferred the guidance in the second person ("you")
